This is a very well run hotel. The breakfasts were particularly nice and the staff were all extremely pleasant and helpful. There is a bus stop right outside so one can go here direct from the airport on the bus. It is about 10-15 minutes to the city centre by bus and the buses are frequent.

Very nice spacey room to the back, therefor very quiet. Friendly and helpful staff. The sister hotel across the street has a small, but nice menu, and has a well equipped bar, with a good selection of Malts. Breakfast is served in the Breakfast room. You can get cooked scottish breakfast and continental, with different cheeses, sliced ham, danish and Croissants. A bus stop is just some meters away, but you get to the city center in a 25 minutes walk as well.

The hotel is well situated for a visit to Edinburgh. The staff were extremely welcoming and gave great advise about transport links in the City. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the breakfast great.
The rooms are well appointed but small and the soundproofing is not the best.

The wonderful helpful staff. Helping me with bus routes and train routes and shopping areas. I am from the United States and was by myself and a single female and felt very safe in the hotel. I was there strictly for leisure. 1st time to Scotland and I will come back and your hotel was part of the reason I enjoyed my stay, I also enjoyed The Dunstane Hotel across the street and ate there and drank several times.

Central for what we needed to get up and get down south in the morning having been at the tattoo on the night of our stay. Very clean and tastefully decorated
Stayed in room 215 Noisy water running most of night sounded as if it was running down the wall from upstairs after shower/toilet had been run/flushed late at night.

The following morning I spoke with the manager adn we were up graded at our own cost to a far better room. This room was excellent. Hotel staff were extremely pleasant and helped to book restaurant and a show . Break fast was excellent and freshly cooked

I liked that it was reasonably close to Edinburgh City Centre, it was easy to travel to, it was very modern, and the staff were very helpful and friendly.
I wasn't very impressed with the parking as there were limited spaces and little room to manoeuvre. However, it was free to park and I did managed to get a parking space.

Breakfast very good, hotel staff very courteous standards of furnishings very good.
Did not like the bedroom due to the size of the room being extremely small, could barely walk between the bed and wardrobe. Disappointing it felt very tiny, the room was also located in the basement area therefore very littl natural light made the room dark. Not impressed!

The hotel is in walking distance of the station however you can just jump on on a bus which stops right outside the hotel. This is a 4 star hotel and an amazing one at that, the quality of the rooms were fantastic and spotless. Our rooms were made up everyday for us. We opted for the bed and breafast package and WOW, the food was spot on with a wide range of food, if you opted for cooked food they taliored it just the way you like it. This is the only hotel i have stayed in which serves porridge :)
Nothing everything was spot on
